GPSS Research Conference Chair (May 2016 - April 2017)
Graduate and Professional Student Senate (GPSS)
Successfully planned and executed one-day research conference scheduled for April 12, 2017 (budget: US$15,000; attendees: 300). The responsibilities mainly included:

• • Forming and chairing the conference committee.

  • Drafting the conference budget and working with different colleges, the Senate and other resources get funding.

  • Inviting guests, planning workshops, calling for abstracts, inviting and creating fair judging panel, managing event logistics and public relations.
    

Electrical and Computer Engineering Department Senator (June 2015 - April 2016)
Graduate and Professional Student Senate (GPSS)
Duties involved attending senate meetings every month, keeping the constituents informed of GPSS events, deadlines, and proceedings, and communicating the concerns of constituents to GPSS.

Submissions and Judging Coordinator (July 2014 - April 2015)
Graduate and Professional Student Research Conference (GPSRC - 2015)
Organized by the ISU Graduate and Professional Student Senate on April 2, 2015. Responsibilities included but not limited to:

• • Managing the entire abstract submission process including sending the abstracts out for peer-review, and sending acceptance notifications.

  • Preparing the abstract scoring criteria, and compiling all the results on the day of conference.
    

Senior High School Judge
State Science and Technology Fair of Iowa (SSTFI - 2015)
Organized in partnership with ISU on March 27, 2015. Assisted in judging the senior high school projects in the disciplines of physics, chemistry and engineering.
